At Learn-2-Learn we work with children with very different learning issues. Read what some clients say about us.
Grace, 11 years old
"Our son Frankie was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and severe Learning Disabilities. Dr. Taddeo worked with Frankie over the course of a year to improve his problem solving, reading and math skills. Frankie made excellent progress with Dr. Taddeo's approach and enjoyed his work with her. I highly recommend her work to anyone looking to improve their child's ability to think and function."
R.S., MD, father of a 9-year old son
“My daughter has learned to “think” about her thinking through the therapy. She is now more aware of her ability to concentrate and she can better describe her feelings and frustrations so we can both work towards a successful school year. I like the fact that I can sit in on sessions and learn strategies I can use at home and with my other kids as well.”S.E., home-schooling mother of an 11-year old daughter
"We were so fortunate to have found Elles Taddeo to help us with our son's behavior problems. Elles was wonderful to work with and our son bonded with her immediately. Elles taught us a very straight forward common sense approach to behavior modification that was easy to implement. We saw results in a fairly short period of time."L.L., mother of a 3-year old son
"We were referred to Elles through the Marcus Institute. Our daughter was adopted from an orphanage at the age of three and a half. During first grade, it became obvious that she had some learning issues, especially with math and number concepts. While no clear diagnosis was made, within meeting our daughter and talking with us for a few minutes, Elles knew exactly what type of help she needed to be successful. Elles is a very patient, laid back individual, but she gets our daughter to do the necessary work with minimal whining. Our daughter loves to see Ms. Elles because she disguises the work, by utilizing games and makes her feel empowered by letting her pick the order of the activities. Elles has been working weekly, with our daughter for 9 months now. In that time she has made remarkable progress in her thinking, reasoning and mathematical skills. We feel blessed to have found such a wonderful specialist to help our daughter "close the gaps" and to be more successful in school."J.B., mother of a 9-year old daughter
"Dr. Elles Taddeo is a masterful educator. Teaching is a true gift; few do it with true excellence. However the quality that makes an educator rise well above the rest is the willingness, aptitude and patience to "learn the child". Simply put, great educators learn the way an individual child learns and adapts their range of skills, activities and understanding to the child. Not only does this approach result in effective teaching rapport but also allows them to take the child to new heights by stretching their skills to attainable goals. Dr. Elles Taddeo has that rare combination of years of knowledge and experience, patience and curiosity about each child with whom she works and a desire to scaffold each child's learning to great successes. I speak not only as a neurodevelopmental psychologist but also as a parent of two gifted children one with a learning disability and one with a more typical learning profile. Elles is incredibly insightful about her approach to both my boys. She has been an integral part of setting a strong foundation of learning skills that will support the years of success ahead of them" J.S-W, Psy.D. Mother of a 8-yr old son
"Elles is wonderful. She loves and appreciates our son for who he is. As much of a struggle as it's been at times, I feel like we have made such great strides. I credit Elles for so much of this. She is such a great support to both him and us. We are so grateful for the help she gives us & how she loves him for who he is .❤️"K.K., Mother of a 10-yr old son
We have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Taddeo for the last year. Mac has a diagnosis of ADHD and struggles with executive skills like time management, planning, focus, etc. Dr. Taddeo has worked with him on not only executive skills, but also when he needed assistance with his school homework.
In Mac’s words, “She has helped me with my attention span, analyzing skills and thinking about learning strategies. She also helped me verbalize my learning strategies and it has helped me in school a lot.”
L.M., Mother of a 12-yr old boy
